Between your experience of Existence

Oh how I believed in the importance
of a thousand serious moves
Instead of tripping over joy
I tripped over my ambition
I held up my sword
the white flag of surrender buried deep
Stayed in control
rather than soften to vulnerability
Until I longed to play
a different game
One where everyone won
and laughter was the reward
I held up my white flag
and cried I Surrender!
Tripping over joy
on a fantastic move back to myself
