All Will Be Well…

“Do not only strive to be the change you want to see in the world, but also help all those around you see the world through commonalities of the heart so that they would want to change with you. This is how humanity will evolve to become better. This is how you can change the world. Stop being a senseless, apathetic follower, and choose to be a courageous leader instead. A leader with a voice. Be different. Be authentic. Be a lion of truth. Do not pick a team or a side, left or right, but always stand up for what is right against the wrong.”

All Will Be Well

We used to drive our lives like automatic cars
Every day we turned on the ignition
put our foot on the pedal
and drove fast until we ran out of gas
or broke down
Now our cars are parked in the garage
with the emergency brake engaged
and we wonder how to move forward
on the long windy road of life
We have this chance to slow down
to think about where we’re trying to go
and why we want to get there in such a hurry
With no maps to guide us
our journey has taken a detour
has realigned our priorities
has turned inward
It’s time to tuneup the engine of our hearts
to breathe life into the deflated parts of our bodies
to clean our mirrors so we can see clearly
It’s time to turn off our hazard flashers and be still
because
there’s
no place
we need
to go
If tears come let them fall
if joy sneaks in celebrate it
if fear pays a visit calm it down with a love song
Down the road when we release the emergency brake
when we remember not to rush the hours of our lives
when we remember where we’re going and why
all will be well
