“When you wake up in the morning, Pooh,” said Piglet at last, “what’s the first thing you say to yourself?”
“What’s for breakfast?” said Pooh. “What do you say, Piglet?”
“I say, I wonder what’s going to happen exciting today?” said Piglet.
Pooh nodded thoughtfully. “It’s the same thing,” he said.

Last week I made buckwheat crêpes every morning for breakfast. I wanted to perfect my vegan recipe where you simply add water and a bit of oil to the buckwheat flour.
On one of my morning walks I stopped and talked with Paula who operates the small food truck by the beach that sells Crêpes and lemonade. I told her about my experiment and she was excited to try it so she would have a gluten-free and vegan option for herself.
I stopped by on Saturday to say hello and she was just about to cook the buckwheat batter she’d prepared and invited me to try some. She put mozzarella cheese, fresh tomatoes, oregano, and balsamic vinegar onto the crêpe. We both declared it a huge success. “I’m going to call this Crêpe Therese,” she said.
Watch out crêpe Suzette!
